Italian Citizenship: New Opening Hours for Call Center Information Service

The Ministry of the Interior has announced changes to the opening hours of the Polo Orienta Contact Center, the call center that provides information to those applying for Italian citizenship. Starting from Monday, 1 July 2024, the service will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

To access information, applicants must have their application number (K10 or K10C) and a valid identity document. The contact center can be reached at 0669000700. Additionally, inquiries can be sent via certified email or simple email to poloorientacittadinanza@pecdlci.interno.it. 

The Ministry of the Interior states, "A group of specialized consultants will analyze the communications and respond promptly."

In cases where an application is refused by the Prefecture, applicants must provide their identification code (ID token) along with an identity document.

For those with an application in progress, it is necessary to include the application number (K10/...... or K10/C/........) and the province of residence in the subject line of the email or certified email (e.g., "K10/...... Bergamo"). For inquiries from individuals without a current application, the subject line should state "information request" followed by the province of residence (e.g., "Rome request").
